M. (Marit) de Jong

Biography

Marit de Jong has a background in biomedical sciences, BSc (2013) and medicine, MD MSc (2017). Subsequently, she started as a PhD student at the Julius Center for Health Sciences and Primary Care, UMC Utrecht. Her research is mainly focused on sex differences in diabetes and cardiovascular diseases.

Marit combines her PhD with the post-graduate master of Epidemiology.
