At the Utrecht Center for Research and Development of Health Professions Education, we make educational knowledge available to healthcare education and dedicate our expertise to University Medical Center Utrecht on a local, national and international level.

Innovation and research projects

Adapt at Work

A practice-oriented research project in higher education. Universities of applied sciences and research universities jointly conduct (design) research into work-learning environments in Bachelor's and Master's programmes, aimed at developing adaptive expertise of (prospective) professionals.

THERMOS

Utrecht University (UU) aims to create a learning environment for all students that will supports their development as optimal as possible (Strategic Plan UU, 2016-2020). THERMOS contributes to this, by offering students more control over their study approach.

This project is designed to deal with the challenge of acting meaningfully upon learning analytics or other early warning systems to support inclusion and student success. Learning analytics is a potentially powerful tool to improve social inclusion through student success.
