Solis account

As a UMC Utrecht staff member, teacher or student, your UMC Utrecht account gives you access to the University Library, so there is no need to apply for a Solis account for that. However, you do need a Solis account to access OSIRIS and Blackboard.

A Solis account for students of the Medicine, Biomedical Sciences, Clinical Healthcare Sciences and UMC Utrecht Academy programs grants access to: 

• Blackboard
• OSIRIS
• Surfspot
• Digital files of University Library Utrecht

A Solis account consists of a username, Solis-id and Solis-password.

Everyone who is involved in academic education on request of the UMC Utrecht can get a Solis account. This accounts grants access to multiple information systems of Utrecht University, such as Blackboard and Educate-it tools.

As an employee or student of UMC Utrecht, you can get access to the library from home. This service is called Online Access and grants access to searching tools, ebooks and digital magazines of the University Library.
