Morsal Samim is an interventional radiologist with focus on the treatment of neurovascular diseases and diagnostic neuroradiology.
Morsal Samim earned her medical degree from UMC Utrecht in 2014. During her senior research internship, she conducted an eight-month research program at the Department of Surgery in Southampton, UK. Following the completion of her medical degree, she was awarded the Alexander Suerman Stipendium – PhD Research track grant by UMC Utrecht, which enabled her to pursue a PhD position at the Department of Radiology and Surgery at UMC Utrecht. Her doctoral studies spanned from 2014 to 2017, during which her research focused on innovative techniques for the treatment of patients with colorectal liver metastases. In addition to her PhD research, she completed a postgraduate Master of Epidemiology at UMC Utrecht in the early years of her doctoral journey.
In 2016, Dr. Samim commenced her radiology training at the University Medical Center of Utrecht. Complementing her training at UMC Utrecht, she also undertook an internship position in Amsterdam University Medical Center (AUMC).
