This year too, we will continue to strongly promote European research applications!

For the period 2019-2023 the SEO plan contains a number of changes and a new internal subsidy for the "support staff / research managers and administrators".

The most important changes in brief are:

> Proposal Development grant​​​ (International funding programmes)​

This subsidy will remain open in the period 2019-2023 with an annual budget of € 300,000.

A maximum of € 25,000 will be available per internal subsidy. An important change is that each year only 4 MSCA-ITN proposals will be awarded a PDG. 

> Proposal Development grant (National funding programmes)

This subsidy will also remain open in the period 2019-2023 with an annual budget of € 50,000.

A maximum of € 10,000 will be available per internal subsidy.

> ERC proposal development voucher​

This subsidy will remain open in the period 2019-2023 with an annual budget of € 20,000.

A maximum of € 2,500 will be available per voucher.

> New:

Personal development grants for Research managers and administrators

This is a new subsidy for the period 2019-2023 with an annual budget of € 40,000.

The UMC offers vouchers for participation in courses, training and attending national and international conferences concerning project management and administrative, financial and legal aspects of internationally subsidized research projects (external training courses, seminars or conferences (

ARMA-UK

, etc.)

• Vouchers are explicitly intended for support staff such as: project managers, grant advisers, business developers, program managers, grant writers, controllers, legal advisors, contract managers, etc.
• Vouchers are limited to 1500 euros for multi-day international training events, courses and conferences;
• Vouchers are limited to 1000 euros for international training events, courses and conferences for one day;
• Vouchers are maximized at 500 euros for national conferences, info days, seminars, courses, network events and training events, etc.
