Sander W. van der Laan (0000-0001-6888-1404, @swvanderlaan) is an Assistant professor at the Circulatory Health lab from the UMC Utrecht. His research focuses on the genetic cause of atherosclerotic disease, coronary artery disease and ischemic stroke specifically. He is a Faculty Ambassador to OSCU, a member of the Faculty Open Science Team, and as a member of Young SiT involved in activities to promote preprint and open access publishing, data and code sharing, and Open Science in general.
