Ward van Beers
Focused on making a difference through relevant and impactful innovations, Ward van Beers hematologist by training, with a special interest in all forms of hereditary hemolytic anemia, he aims to connect external partners to relevant parties within the UMC Utrecht in order to start meaningful trials. He helps PIs at the UMC Utrecht, through mentoring and workshops, with the necessary insights they need in order to create realistic and cost-effective trial budgets. This helps make sure that external partners will get both good value and great quality when collaborating with the UMC Utrecht.
Within U-TRIAL, Ward has a special interest in rare diseases (ERN’s), and gene & Cell Therapy
